BLUESFEST
We just want to thank everybody who was part of our Bluesfest experience! The energy and support that we received from the crowd was overwhelming, (especially from the "BARREL HOUSE BLUES 09 crew" pictured below) and it was certainly a dream come true! Hopefully we will get the chance to do it all again next year. We have a blog on our space if you'd like to hear more about our day.

LOUD 09 BAND COMPETITION
Barrel House have made it through to the semi finals of the LOUD 09 music competition. The next round will be taking place at the Coolangatta Hotel on MAY 21 from 8pm so come along and make sure you bring your dancing shoes! BARREL HOUSE PLAY THE 20TH ANNUAL BLUESFEST
We are pumped to be playing this year! It was a huge achievement for us to get on the line up and we are coming prepared with some special guests - Jason Hiese on trumpet, Ben Carrie on percussion and the amazing Lisa Hunt laying down some amazing vocals! OPEN ROAD EP COMING SOON!
Barrel House are excited to announce the release of there first EP “OPEN ROAD” which will be happening early April! It's being distributed by Inertia and is also being serviced for radio so keep tuning in and you just might hear them!

BARREL HOUSE SIGN MANAGEMENT DEAL WITH CROSS SECTION
One day we went to a one on one workshop to find out more about how the actual 'industry' works. We met Scott Mesiti and Ted Gardner and what ended up being an amazing conversation led to much more.. We continued the conversation over the coming weeks which has now led to Barrel House being managed by Cross Section. Cross Section have also set up distribution through Inertia which has given us the perfect avenue to release our music... Independently.

BIG BARREL HOUSE "OPEN ROAD" TOUR
Barrel House are locking in a tour to coincide with their EP release starting with “Bluesfest” on the 11th of April. The tour will continue through April into May and will cover from Melbourne to the Sunshine coast. Keep your eyes and ears open for tour details... coming soon.
